In August of 2017, the Brown Sugar Collective launched 'Meet the Mogul,' an online series where we introduce rising creatives, entrepreneurs and go-getters alike who are using their talents to pave their own way in their respective industries. To kick off the series, we linked up with Florence Ngala, a photographer and creative director from Harlem, NY!
Over the summer Florence, more commonly known as "Flo," interned at Venables Bell & Partners out in San Francisco, California to pursue her love for art direction and design. Flo describes her ability to capture a good photo or snap a powerful moment as a 'sixth sense' that has developed over the 9 years she has been practicing photography. Thanks to this natural ability, Florence has had the opportunity to work with some of the most influential hip-hop artists including Gucci Mane, Kodak Black & Cardi B.
We are so honored to have had the opportunity to chat with Flo, she is surely the future of powerful photography and a mogul in every sense of the word.
