The Brown Sugar Collective is an emerging organization centered around the idea of “Networking across.” Our aim is to connect black creatives in NYC through innovative communal events. Manifesting from a conversation between the three of us regarding the need for organizations that promote black creatives, the Brown Sugar Collective has become a platform for African-American artists, writers, creators and go-getters alike to unify and network efficiently.

In efforts to be the change we want to see, we utilize our community talents and provide outlets for young black creatives.

Meet the Mogul is one of Brown Sugar Collective's ongoing initiatives to highlight creatives of color. Every month, BSC honors millennials who are making strides in their respective fields. Apart of an online series, these moguls are asked to speak on their talents/skills in hopes that they can serve as inspiration for other moguls of color.
